Would you like to have your own vineyard on your finca?

A good way to increase the value of your property is to plant a vineyard. In Mallorca, local products are in great demand and their prices are increasing. Having your own vineyard is worth it with a minimum plantation of 500 vines, of which approximately 500-700 bottles are produced per year.

Not all lands are suitable for planting vineyards. The conditions of soil, water and location are decisive criteria. Of the forty local varieties, wine is mainly produced from black grape varieties such as Manto Negro and Callet and from white varieties such as Prensal. The “Manto Negro” is grown mainly in Binissalem and gives a high-grade and medium-bodied wines with aromas of ripe fruit. Callet is a rustic and not very vigorous plant that produces medium-grade wines.

The planting season is between Christmas and May. After 3 years the first harvest is collected.
